Linnéa Talp (b. 1990 in Vargön, Vänersborg, Sweden) is a Stockholm based composer, producer and musician. As a musician, she’s working with the pipe organ, but also as a singer and a cellist. With her previous solo project DEEREST, she released the album COCHLEA (Dubious records, 2020) and the EPs Deep River Series (Lazy Octopus Records, 2018) and XX. (2017).
With her latest solo release Variations for Light Waves, the Swedish composer doubles down on the focus and intensity that characterised her 2022 solo debut, Arch of Motion. As with that album, Variations for Light Waves trains its focus on the breath and hum of the pipe organ, but it further elevates the deep listening and rich poetry at the heart of Talp’s compositions.
