Liner notes till CD'n Certain Magical Moves:
"In 1994, Kjell Nordeson and Johan Petri recorded a series of duos released on the album I Fear This War (ALCD012). Those duos were interspersed with songs and texts by American poet Lorine Niedecker, colored by the proximity in time to the first Gulf War. Thirty years later, they reunited for another series of duo recordings, this time with the sole intention of coexisting in music for a moment. The musical affinity was immediate and natural. Stepping down in the same river again; necessarily different, necessarily connected. Nordeson and Petri have worked together intermittently since the 90s and have continued to collaborate since Nordeson relocated to San Francisco, where he currently resides. "
